Control-S : In-Ctrl Recordings

Background

Formed in February of 2007, In-Ctrl Recordings is the record label from production duo Control-S. Set up primarily as an outlet for original productions from Control-S, the label is dedicated to releasing material from right across the board; from smooth vocal 2-step to heavy bassline pressure. By distributing nationwide and covering the UK's clubs and radio, the aim of the label is to cater to the demands of lovers of new, undergound UK music, and help take the sound to the masses.

Their first release was 'Gonna Make It', a remix EP for MOBO nominated UK Gospel group Four Kornerz which went on to be one of the biggest selling Garage tracks of 2007 and put Control-S to a whole new level. With PA's of the Control-S Club Mix being performed all over the country at various club nights and events, the track is still doing damage in clubland.

The second release introduced a new talent to the UK underground scene, in the shape of Scott Maurice, a very talented singer, songwriter, dancer from North London. Together with an appearance from Majestic MC, "Never Leave Me Alone" went on to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year and was very quickly picked up to feature on a stream of UK Garage/Bassline CD compilations, including the most recent addition to the infamous Pure Garage series. In-Ctrl Recordings continue to support new music and new artists, bringing new releases to the underground, filling them with remixes from some of the biggest and best names in the scene, and presenting them with slick, eye-catching designs.
